Cellaring is counted from the vintage and depends on storage conditions.

The parcel

Acquired for the 2012 harvest, this parcel occupies a gentle slope. Its brown soil, mixed with clay and sand, drains freely.

Soil Brown limestone soil, clay and sand

Winemaking & ageing

Grapes arrive in small crates and are sorted before vatting. Fermentation lasts around fifteen days with punch-downs, followed by barrel ageing with 20% new oak. Bellows-assisted racking limits handling.

Tasting notes

Beaune's rounded character is accompanied here by power and depth. A Pinot Noir built to age.

At the table

Lamb, duck breast, red meat or soft cheese.
