Cellaring is counted from the vintage and depends on storage conditions.

The parcel

On the southern side of the Corton hill, this cuvée brings together the estate's Grand Cru parcels. Old vines produce concentrated Pinot Noir intended for long ageing.

Winemaking & ageing

Grapes arrive in small crates and are sorted before vatting. Fermentation lasts around fifteen days with punch-downs, followed by barrel ageing with 20% new oak. Bellows-assisted racking limits handling.

Tasting notes

Blackcurrant, kirsch and spice when young, followed by woodland, truffle and leather. The palate is fleshy, powerful and long.

At the table

Duck, jugged hare, venison or mature cheeses.
