The parcel

At 350 metres above sea level, La Grande Corvée de Bully lies on the slope towards the Hautes-Côtes. Once part of Maizières Abbey, it takes its name from the nearby Bully spring.

Soil Marl, shallow soils

Winemaking & ageing

Grapes arrive in small crates and are sorted before vatting. Fermentation lasts around fifteen days with punch-downs, followed by barrel ageing with 20% new oak. Bellows-assisted racking limits handling.

Tasting notes

Cherry and raspberry shape the bouquet of this garnet-coloured Pinot Noir. The palate is generous with silky tannins.

At the table

Roast leg of lamb or beef.
