Cellaring is counted from the vintage and depends on storage conditions.

The parcel

A few metres from the church, this dry-stone-walled clos is an estate monopole. Chardonnay grows on a gentle slope sheltered from the wind. Premier Cru status for its white wine dates from the 2000 harvest.

Soil Shallow soil

Winemaking & ageing

Grapes are harvested into small crates and pressed whole. After 24 hours of settling at low temperature, the juice ferments in barrels, 30% of them new. Ageing on lees with stirring continues until July, with bottling after about twelve months.

Tasting notes

A fruity, full-bodied wine with the power and aromatic richness to be enjoyed young.

At the table

Fish, white meat or fruity Comté cheese.
