Cellaring is counted from the vintage and depends on storage conditions.

The parcel

Facing the village, Belles Filles is a steep, east-facing parcel. Limestone beds help limit erosion, while iron-rich clay gives the soil its red colour.

Winemaking & ageing

Grapes arrive in small crates and are sorted before vatting. Fermentation lasts around fifteen days with punch-downs, followed by barrel ageing with 20% new oak. Bellows-assisted racking limits handling.

Tasting notes

A supple, fruity Pinot Noir with blackcurrant, redcurrant and a mineral note.

At the table

Beef fillet, veal, lamb shoulder or duck.
